Project Overview & Management
Every project in FlowEdge has its own page with three tabs that keep everything organized: Documents, Forms, and Context. This is your central hub for managing all the work tied to a specific project.
Accessing Your Projects
There are two ways to get to a project:
- From the sidebar — Click Projects to see all your projects across all clients.
- From a client page — Open a client’s detail page and click on a project in their project list.
The Three Tabs
Documents Tab
This tab shows every document generated for this project — proposals, SOWs, contracts, and general documents. From here you can:
- Open any document in the editor
- See when each document was created
- Identify the document type at a glance
💡 Tip
The Documents tab is a great way to compare different versions of a proposal or see the full history of documents you have created for a project.
Forms Tab
This tab shows any intake forms linked to the project. Client intake forms help you collect project requirements before generating a document. From this tab you can:
- View forms created for the project
- See form submissions from clients
- Link form responses to document generation
Context Tab
The Context tab is where you store background information that helps the AI generate better documents. This is covered in detail in the Project Context Tab guide.
Creating Projects
Like clients, projects can be created in two ways:
- Automatically — When you generate a document with a new project name, FlowEdge creates the project for you.
- Manually — From a client’s detail page, click Add Project and give it a name.
✅ Best Practice
Use clear, descriptive project names like “Website Redesign 2026” or “Q1 Marketing Campaign.” This makes it easy to find projects later as your list grows.
Projects and Document Generation
When you generate a new document, the project connection matters:
- The AI can reference context files stored in the project
- Documents are automatically filed under the right project
- You build a history of all work done for each project
⚠️ Important
Each project belongs to one client. If you are working with the same project across multiple client stakeholders, create the project under the primary client.
Next Steps
- Learn how to add context files for smarter AI generation in the Project Context Tab.
- Go back to Managing Clients to learn about client organization.
- See your projects at a glance on the Dashboard.
